The Range at Tenison Park is the home of The Golf Academy of Dallas, your total game improvement center. The instructional programs available are for the beginner player and the professional player, as well as all skill levels in between.

Whether it's full swing mechanics, short game fundamentals, playing the game on the course, mental and physical conditioning or all of the above, The Golf Academy of Dallas will make your game better. The Golf Academy of Dallas has a staff of golf professionals that is unsurpassed in the Dallas area in terms of knowledge, experience and effectiveness.  Dartfish video software and the TOMI putting system are available to help you develop consistency to your game.  You will have fun learning from the best. The Golf Academy is the best place for your entire game to improve.

Instructional Programs

Beginner Series

The Beginners Series is designed to take people with little or no experience to an understanding of the game, the course and the rules. These skills will enable a beginner to enjoy the game of golf. The Series are designed in three phases of four one-hour classes that progressively improve your skill, technique and knowledge.

Beginner I
Introduces the principles of the swing and short game. Explains what you need to know about golf equipment.

Intermediate
For the learner who plays on the golf course but has plenty of room for improvement! The lessons will trouble-shoot your swing and examine your short-game technique.

** All group lessons are $250.00 for 4 one-hour sessions. Groups will have a maximum of 5:1 student teacher ratio.

Custom Group Lessons

If our class schedule is not convenient for you why not get a couple of friends together and form your own group and dictate your own times? You can then tell us what areas of the game your group would like to focus on. A minimum of three people are required per group and the price is $250.00 for 4 one-hour lessons.

Mental Training, Inc. (MTI) was founded in 2006 by Dr. Robert Neff after his 15 years of athletic and business consulting in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. MTI strives to be the premier source for athletes and business professionals to receive mental training for performance benefits, constantly enhancing its elite team of mental trainers and optimal techniques for success. We work with a variety of age, experience, and competitive levels within a multitude of sport, business, and other performance industries.

The mission of MTI is to be a catalyst for success. Our team provides tools and support for athletes to strengthen their mental skills for optimal performance. The core of our work involves teaching people how to control their thoughts and emotions so they can perform their best when it matters the most.

Private Instruction

For an established player, or a player whose schedule has no flexibility, private lessons are a preferred option. The one-to-one instruction will encourage an accelerated learning pace and enable you to focus on parts of the game specific to your needs. Your instructor will be able to guide you towards a learning program that will help you achieve your goals.

Junior Golf Program

Our programs are available for junior golfers ages 5-17 regardless of experience. Our instructors are available to work with junior players on an individual basis or as part of our clinic/camp programs.  Call us at (214) 670-8385 for further details.

Special Needs Instruction

Tenison Park's state-of-the-art driving range and learning center is wheelchair accessible and was built to accommodate physically challenged individuals.
