(Membership fee $15.00)
Rules: Play will be governed by the 2009 USGA Rules of Golf
Format: The Erwin Hardwicke will be contested stroke play over 36 holes, 18 holes each day.
Glen on Saturday - Highlands on Sunday
Flights: Your verified handicap will place you in a flight. *The champion can come from any gross flight playing from the Championship Tees.
Entry Fee: $125.00 per player
(carts are optional and are not included in entry fee)
Entry Deadline: Friday, May 15th 2009
Starting Times: Will be available at Tenison Park by calling 214.670.1402 on Friday May 22nd.

"No Personal Coolers"
As of March 1, 2009 no personal coolers are allowed on any City of Dallas golf course. At Tenison Park we have two cooler options available for your convenience:
1) We offer a very nice cooler that fits on our golf carts - this cooler requires a refundable deposit of $20.
2) We have plastic bags of ice available at no charge. You can get one of these when you make a purchase in our Cafe.
On The Course
The Glen greens were aerated on Monday, April 18th and are now getting back to normal.
The Highlands greens are scheduled to be aerated on Monday, May 11th.

Free Golf Fitness Assessment!
Our Director of Instruction, Scott Akers is offering a special during the month of May for anyone who takes a one hour lesson.
Scott is a certified Titleist Performance Institute Instructor and he will complete a full medical evaluation of your range of motion and flexibility. With that information a specific workout plan will be created for you and accessed via the internet.

Junior Programs
The Golf Academy of DallasAfter School Program
Director of Instruction, Scott Akers is teaching an after school program for kids ages 10-14. Kids that attend will learn the fundamentals of putting, chipping and full swing. The classes will be 45 minutes long and will meet on the following
Wednesdays:
April 22nd 4:00-4:45
April 29th 4:00-4:45
May 6th 4:00-4:45
May 13th 4:00-4:45

SUMMER JUNIOR CLINICS
Junior Camp is a hands on approach where each participant will learn or re-fine his or her set of fundamentals. Our teaching adgenda will cover putting, chipping and full swing. We will host two different age groups (group 1: ages 7-10) (group 2: ages 11-17). Camp is scheduled Monday through Thursday and runs from 9:00-11:00am each day. The dates are listed below, please sign up in advance. Space is limited. Tutuion is $200 and includes instruction, gift bag, snacks and drinks.
